So far, only the shallots have sprouted from seed tray 1. I'll be setting up the light timer for 4am - 8pm, that is, 16 hours. I think this is a good length for long day plants, considering that my plant lights are not nearly as strong as sunlight. And most early spring plants are LD plants, including shallots.
